Charlene R. Kessler is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Above Board Consulting, Inc, a technology consulting firm based in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA with impeccable principles and a reputation for ethical business practices and superior technical expertise.  She founded the company in 2004 in order to meet a need she and her colleagues saw in the industry for high-caliber individuals to offer clients objective and uncompromised technical expertise in the areas of Computer Forensics, Management of Information Technology and Network Security in today’s highly regulated environment.

Prior to founding Above Board Consulting, Ms. Kessler worked in a variety of roles in order to gain the experience needed to successfully run a Technology Consulting business.  She has over 20 years of technical experience specializing in various types of UNIX administration with a heavy emphasis on TCP/IP networking, Network security and computer forensics.  Obviously no career these days is complete without extensive experience in Windows as well.  Her technical education and experience is augmented by her experience in management, sales, technical writing and as a technical trainer.  Ms. Kessler holds a B.A. degree in Math/Computer Science from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. 

Ms. Kessler has also attained her Certified Computer Examiner® (CCE®) certification from the International Association of Forensic Computer Examiners® (ISFCE®).

The CCE® certification requirements:

• Submit to a background check and have no criminal record

• Meet training or experience requirements

• Abide by the Code of Ethics

• Pass an online proficiency exam

• Demonstrate competence by completing forensic examinations on three test media cases which are graded prior to approval
